A: How often do you visit your half-brother?
B: I visit him twice a month.

 A: Who cooks dinner for your grandmother?
B: My mother does. She cooks dinner for her every day.



Affirmative statements


- My in-laws live in Rio. 
- My ex-wife lives in Tokyo.

Negative statements


- My aunt and uncle don't work in an office.
- My cousin doesn't work at home

Yes / no questions and short answers


Do they have any children? Yes, they do / No, they don't Does she have any nieces or nephews? Yes, she does / No, she doesn't.


Spelling rules with he, she, and it


Adds to the base form of most verbs.

 plays / calls / works / likes 

Add -ed to verbs that end in -s, -sh, -ch, or  -x.

1. The motorcycle and car.
-Both are means of transportation
-The motorcycle is for one person and the car is for several people.

2. Snail and butterfly
- The snail and the butterfly are animals
-  The butterfly flies and he crawls

3. Saturn and a ring
- Both are circular
- Saturn is a big planet and the ring is small

4. The hedgehog and a cactus
- Both have spines
- The hedgehog is an animal that walks and the cactus is a plant that does not move
